Four Ayalolo buses have been burnt into ashes at the Regional workshop of the State Transport Company (STC) in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
A source that reveled the unfortunate incident to Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo explained the Buses caught fire Wednesday night around 10:20pm.
“We couldn’t control the fire and it transferred from one bus to the other. We called fire service to help the situation. When they came, the fire had engulfed and burnt all the four buses”.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known but it is believed that an electrical fault caused the problem.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service were able to bring the fire under control.
Meanwhile an investigation into the matter has commenced by officials from the fire service who managed to salvaged the situation.
